Pedigree Wholesale contacted us after an internet search; they required a high level of safety and security for their building and staff, so we headed on over to start the process for the installation of CCTV in their Leeds Warehouse…

Pedigree Wholesale is an independent pet and aquatic retailer, they have been established for over 40 years. A family owned business (4th generation), founded on hard work and family values to provide the best service possible. They have opened up other warehouses to extend their reach throughout the UK. Selling over 12,500 quality pet products with their own ranges “All for Paws” and “Animal Instincts” which show their quality, performance and value for money. Only promising what they can deliver, Pedigree Wholesale stocks it all!

CCTV

CCTV is a cost-effective way to provide security within a business, cameras allow you to replace expensive security guards and increase reliability. CCTV gives you full coverage of your premises at all times, even where a guard could miss due to human error. Businesses without CCTV can become a target to criminals, so having CCTV can reduce your insurance premiums as it reduces vandalism and attempted burglary.

CCTV Features and Recommendations

Due to the size of their warehouse, Pedigree Wholesale were recommended cameras that include live recording and playback feature; allowing them to see if any equipment or goods have been damaged or stolen, and to check on employee behaviour. Forklifts are used within the warehouse, the CCTV allows them to check health and safety is been followed, minimising incidents within the workplace and a piece of evidence protecting against any false accusations. We recommended multiple cameras to reduce blind spots, and the positioning of cameras to target the most valuable assets such as vehicles, stock or machinery.
