Starting Pay £33280 basic + Overtime + Holiday + Pension + Vehicle

The Role

Due to continued expansion TI Security is seeking Skilled Multi Disciplined Service Engineers to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well run and organised growing company.

Whether joining as a Service Engineer or Installation Engineer the successful candidate will be:

Experienced in Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, IP CCTV and Access Control. Training in Automatic Gates & Barriers will be provided.

Knowledgeable and have a good understanding of the British Standards & NSI Gold company requirements.

Included in the call out rota (one weeknight every three weeks and one weekend every thirteen weeks).

Hours Of Work & Pay

40 hour week, Monday – Friday, 8.00 am – 4.30 pm.

Holiday Entitlement

28 days including statutory holidays.

Person Specification

Smartly dressed with a professional attitude.

Experienced and knowledgeable. Having a good understanding of the British/European standards and NSI Gold requirements.

Must live within 20 miles of LS25 postcode.

Ability to work under pressure and to agreed time scales.

Proactive, focussed and motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Provided with a Van, fuel card (for business use), mobile phone and laptop.

A competent driver with a clean driving license.

Vetted and subject to security and financial screening to ensure suitability for this role.

TRAINEE ENGINEER

Training

Will be provided internally.

Hours Of Work & Pay

40 hour week, Monday – Friday, 8.00 am – 4.30 pm.

Pay starts at £9.50 per hour (salary £19,760).  There will be an opportunity to earn Overtime.  Note. A Qualified engineer earns from £27k – £35k per annum plus overtime.

Holiday Entitlement

28 days including statutory holidays.

Main Duties

The role involves assisting our Security, Gate & Barrier engineers in their day to day activities. As the candidate’s competence and capability grows they will take responsibility for key elements within current projects.

Minimum Qualifications

GCSE (or equivalent) Grade C in English Language, Maths, Sciences.

Person Specification

A genuine interest in Engineering and Technical subjects.

A natural forward planner who is business-like and self-driven with a clear focus on high-quality work standards and business profitability.

Mature, credible, and comfortable working in a medium-sized business.

Willingness to learn, strong work ethic and a positive can-do attitude.

Good analytical skills, methodical, flexible and thorough.

APPRENTICE ENGINEER

Training
