    these basic school fire alarms separate your site into various zones and are very cost-effective, but they offer no indication of where the fire has originated from, thereby potentially preventing the best evacuation strategy.

  • Addressable fire alarm systems

    particularly suitable for larger school sites, these fire alarm systems give each detector a personal ‘address’, so you can immediately identify the exact location of the hazard.

  • Control panels

    we offer sophisticated central systems that can monitor circuits and fault signals, and provide facilities for testing, disabling devices, audible alert silencing and system resets. Control panels must be placed in a low risk location, near the main ground floor school or college entrance.

  • Detectors

    we offer a range of different fire alarm detectors for your school, college or education centre:

    • Heat detectors – these come in two types; to trigger an alert when a pre-set temperature is registered, or to trigger an alert based on the rate of temperature increase.
    • Smoke detectors – these can register smoke through ionisation, light obscuring or light scattering.
    • Carbon monoxide detectors – these are not the same as a residential CO detector, but instead monitor CO released as a result of a fire outbreak.
    • Multi sensor detectors – an algorithmic based sensor, combining both optical and heat detection.
